[At Archery Tavern, Paddington, London] A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty, and so is the flavor, though with a slightly hoppy end. Drinkable, but I rather have an ale in London and a real HB in other places. harrisoni (18978) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2005
Draught at Shaston Arms, Soho. One of the better lagers I have had. Golden colour, no head. Goodish lager with good balance, some lemon and hop finish downender (8729) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 8, 2010
Cask-conditioned at the Ship & Shovell, London 5/06/10. Golden with a slight white head and moderate carbonation. Sweetish malty lager, with a touch of fruitiness and dryish finish. Not bad. chriso (7583) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 19, 2005
On tap at the Shaston Arms, Soho. As British keg lagers go, this wasn’t too bad. Not great you understand, just relatively good. And all things are relative. Clean and crisp. Slightly fruity with a whiff of hops and some underlying dry malt. I’ve had far worse.

Shaston Arms, Soho. Soft carbonation - nice fruit in the malt. Pleasant and inoffensive. Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - AUG 17, 2005
Draught at Archery Tavern, London. Golden coloured. Very light, but clean, aroma and flavour. Mungo (2470) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - APR 11, 2006
Keg at Jolly Sailor, Bursledon. Sweet malt start with some grassy hops coming in and a dryer malt finish. A bit gassy but quite drinkable. EHSRanders (2076) - Tjele, DENMARK - JUN 11, 2008
On tap at Prince Edwards, Bayswater. Clear golden colour with small white mostly diminishing head. Malty aroma. Sweet bitter flavor. Joeh (2049) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - NOV 30, 2004
Weak, UK brewed versions of supposed German beers, to different recipes. ’Draught’ at the Hit or Miss, Penn Street, Buckinghamshire. Very pale, anemic rubbish. Aroma is quite unpleasent, like cheese. Flavour is much along the same lines, the most watery beer I’ve ever tasted, some dairy flavours (cheese/yoghurt), absolutely no hops. Zero flavour.
