"Bound to satisfy".
Current description: Hopping Hare is thrice hopped with three types of hop used during the brewing process. Aromatic Goldings and Cascade combine to provide an uplifting citrus-grapefruit and floral aroma, whilst First Gold carries the bitterness. The effect is a refreshing ale with a unique hoppy aroma and well-balanced bitterness that is bound to satisfy! It is a terrific match with roast lamb and spicy Thai dishes!
Previous description: Triple hopped - Super Styrian hops added twice to the coppers then Styrian Goldings added.

Pale golden pour. The nose is a little bit spicy and fruity. Clean MO malt base and a bit of fruity yeast. Pretty nice, straightforward golden ale. A bit of astringent bitterness.

Flaske 500ml fra Kilpishalli. Delt med Rune på Nerstranda 10 Des. 14. Gyldenbrun. Lavt skum. Veldig god ferskenaroma. God smak av tørket frukt. Plommer. Hint av parfyme. Avslutter svakt syrlig.

500ml bottle kindly shared by Finn at a session at his place. Pours a bright golden coloured body under a pearl white head, slowly diminishing. Spare lacing. Aroma is mild caramel and leafy hops. Likewise, the taste character is made up by a smooth mix of brown malts and leafy hops. Bittersweet endnotes. Medium bodied. Fine partner to our meat (Tromsø 10.12.2014).

Bottle. Pours a clear golden with white head. Aroma of malts and floral hops, some citrus. Taste is weak. easy drinking but nothing stand outish.

From old notes - golden colour with decent white head. Light aroma of citrus and taste similar. Nothing particularly wrong, an easy drinking beer but no stand out.

Pyobon (1402) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 28, 2014
Clear golden with good white head. Pleasant aroma, but does not live up to the hoppy hype - there’s some citrus/grapefruit aroma over biscuity malt. Light bodies with soft frothy carbonation. Pleasant balanced foretaste of light malt and some fruity grassy notes, but seems a little thin afterward. Reasonable bitterness build up into the finish, but again it doesn’t live up to the description.

Pdubyah (736) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 13, 2014
A reasonable middling beer. Tangy and bite up front, crisp and quenching, but not an aroma to savour or write home about. reasonable body but this isn’t a full beer, and there isn’t much length in the taste. But it did the trick and for that it’s worth a go.

panzerwolf (353) - FINLAND - SEP 13, 2014
Pours deep, bright gold with a modest white top. Taste is floral with a slight taste of hops, medium body, slightly bitter. Very much enjoyed this one!
