Malzig-fruchtig, etwas grasig, Karamell. Typische Bitter-Aromen. Leicht herb - angenehm. Recht tief im Aroma - Lecker.

Pours a dark brown colour and has a grassy malty aroma. In the taste its malty and hoppy a pretty good bitter.

Crisp, hopped, grassy flavours, but with some underlying malt character. Decent, not great.

Original badger beer not much depth of flavour but ok once in a while if u like beers like this heavy enough tastering i suppose

Drinkable, quite a full flavour, fairly decently hopped, but just misses the boat somewhere.

shoestring (401) - larkhall, SCOTLAND - JAN 14, 2008
Some caramel came through. Malt present. Standard and dependable fare. Nice bitter ale.

joe19612 (2920) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - OCT 14, 2007
Bottled. Pours a real amber colour with a soft head. The beer is smooth with a hoppy favour with a soft malt substructure. Pleasant but not a stand out.

3.5
Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 1, 2007
Dark amber, nice head. The aroma is both hoppy and malty. The flavour is quite full and smooth with brief sweetness and a refreshing bitterness. It has notes of roasted malt and the brew has a nice balance and is quite charming.
