Bottle, 500ml. A copper coloured pour with a small head. Aromas of hops, citrus fruits and some yeast. Taste is lightly hoppy with strong biscuity notes. A somewhat watery finish with some malt and citrus. Moderate carbonation. Not bad. yngwie (17234) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 27, 2006
On tap. Creamy off-white head on top of a clear, golden ale. Weak malty aroma with some hoppy fruityness. The flavor is the same. Thin body and a pineapple-fruity, lightly hopped finish. A quite pleasant and balanced beer, but a bit boring. (060712) harrisoni (19338) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2006
500ml bottle from Somerfield. I quite liked this bitter, typically English bitter with yeast hop aroma, some caramel. I had a couple of bottles whilst I was in a hotel in Brentford. Distinctive Badger yeast and hop. Good enough for a simple drink. marcus (10680) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAY 5, 2006
This bitter ale poured from a hand pump with a thin off-white head. A typical bitter but with a full flavor and a nice hop bite at the finish. rw4244 (134) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - APR 24, 2006
Bottle 5ocl. Poured clear dark amber, with a foamy offwhite head. Rich flowery aroma with a hint of citrus. Fragrant flowery and hoppy tatse, and a pleasant bitter finsh with a further hint of citrus. Quite an oily mouth feel. Very pleasant though nothing special.

Bottle. Lots of toffeish sweetness with pleasant spicy hop notes underneath. Poor mouthfeel. SilkTork (5855) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JAN 12, 2006
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2006 Pasteurised bottle. Carbonation is artificial, but not aggressive. Pasteurised notes all over the place giving this beer an odd burned sugar sweetness, a stale hops flavour and a dead quality which is really quite unpleasant. That’s a shame because the malty and hop soaked ale that exists underneath the appalling final treatment is quite pleasant, and is fighting to come through. It’s certainly pulling above 3.8%. UPDATED: FEB 8, 2006 Was not bad, but the flavor was almost gone, very good foam for being an ale, but a little tiring before oyu end the bottle. rauchbier (3934) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - SEP 16, 2005
Bottle, from Somerfield. Copper bronze, thin white head and gentle condition. Buttery malt aromas with a hint of earthy hops. Soft and sweet initialy in the mouth but with a developing hop note that becomes quite metallic with time. Short malt and caramel in the finish with a late hint of flowery hoppiness.
