500ml bottle. Pours an attractive clear straw yellow, with of course no head, but lots of lasting bubble trails, and looks very alluring. Pear, a hint of old leather, hazelnut and musk on the nose, making a very complex aroma for a perry. There is some soft sweetness to begin, with vanilla notes, more hazelnut and the sweet aspect of pear skin. Tartness and acidity then develop, adding a bit of lemon to the mix, with the initial sweet flavour again coming through in the finish. This is one of the more comples perries that I have had, yet still very approachable. Perfect on a horribly muggy Sydney evening. LazyPyro (1793) - Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 24, 2017

500ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour, greenish tint like wine, with a thin white head stays for a while around the edge. Aroma of fresh sweet pears, sweet, floral, grass. Taste of medium sweet pears, some floral grassy notes. Medium dry. Crisp. Excellent perry.

500 ml bottle bought at YATA in Grand Century Place, Mong Kok during “YATA Oktoberfest” promotion.
Clear very pale golden colour; Less than one-quarter finger head and soapy white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Moderate sticky lacing with fizzy carbonation; Tart aroma of light pear wine, with light wood barrel, very light apple juice and light tannic; Close to medium sweet taste of pine wine, with light yoghurt tartness, pear puree, light apple juice, very light alcohol, carbo, light grass, and faint tannic; Light body, thin and fruity palate; Mouth feel is very fruity with strong grassy edge. Pear taste is like puree with small amount of apple juice. Tastable booze and just right sweetness, not domineering and mixed well with the fruity, light winey taste. Quite nice! Slightly dry after taste, very easy and quite fruity to mouth.
Comments: This one is easy, nothing complicated, yet fruity and subtle, like an entry Perry with more to offer and eager to please. Easily drinkable!
Perfect perry colour, looking like a big glass of reisling. The smell is similar to aromatic white wine as well. It’s not until you take your nose from the glass and consider it for a while that you think "Hmm, yes. Pears." There’s a fruity acid quality at first. Upon tasting there’s a good gooseberry and pear sweetness. This is a real sweety and one of my best Perrys methinks.
