Kraftkost for viltre krabater!

20.07.2017. On tap at Malt & Humle. Gladmat, Stavanger. Dark golden colour with white head. Fresh hops and toffee. Strong beer with a very firm and sharp body. Strong and rich. A good one!!

Bottle at Cafe Sånn, Tromsø. Pours almost clear dark golden with a big creamy white head. Aroma of mellow marmelade malts, loaded with resiny hops as well. Taste is well balanced , extremely easy to like, deep resiny bold hops blends well with the powerful malty body, very good

Flaske. Strågul med hvitt skum som varer en liten stund. Aromaen er malt, blomster, frukt (aprikos) og furunål. Smaken er ganske lik. En god iipa av den mer humlete typen.

Bottle, Lot nr #0118. Aroma is pine, spruce, hay, wood, resin, with notes of caramel, malts and citrus. Dark golden amber, hazy, medium to small off white head. Medium sweetness, medium bitter, taste is bread crust, restrained citrus, fruity, hints of orange and floral notes. Medium+ body, medium carbonation, long finish with lingering bitterness and some malty sweetness. Nice and complex!

0.33l bottle from #0118. This one pours a, well I guess you may call it mildly cloudy. Kind da deeper grey golden colored and on the top there’s a small quite sidesticking filmy head. It smells quite nice. We’ll hopped for sure and it smells quite fresh. Citrussy and a little tropical almost. Peaches and spruces. There’s also a n ice malty sweetness here. Drops-like almost. Smells quite nice but nothing extraordinary. Tastes at first quite yeasty. Nutty yeast and melon. It’s bitter for sure, and that helps against the yeastiness. It has a good oily texture in the mouth and it’s just above average on the carbonation. Old citrus peel bitterness, some cantaloupe. You do also notice the alcohol in the this but it’s never disturbing. A tad too far out on the yeasty side, other than that a nice DIPA. 03.12.2016

29.11.2016, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grassy, leafs, wet grass, sap, sugar, hops, bark, hay, flowers, moss, minerals, pine needles, light malts, hints of caramel and dried fruits. Taste is slightly sweet boozy, sugar, wet grass, booze, bark, sap, harsh hops, citrus peel, minerals, pine needles, light malts, hints of dried fruits. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry and harsh boozy mouthfeel. Fair enough.

330ml draught, shared with Finn, tap takeover at Cafe Sånn. Slowly diminishing off-white head leaving scattered lacing on the glass. Hazy, apricot coloured body. Dried fruity aromas with a touch of cat piss. Rather rich and well blended taste of pine, dried fruits and restrained malty sweetness followed by a lingering bittersweet finish with hints of citrus peels. Hidden alcohol. Likable sipper, a bit heavy to drink (Kulturnatt, Tromsø 07.10.2016).

Bottle at home. Pours a clear dark bronze colour with a big creamy off-white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, wood, grass and some lime and caramel. Hint of diacetyl. The flavour is filled with pine and grassy hops and grapefruit undertones. Has a slick mouth feel, full-bodied and a heavy bitterness. A powerfull IIPA with lots of hops. A hop heads dream, but the flavour is a little unbalanced in my opinion. I prefer more malt to balanced the hops. Solid IIPA anyway. Hard to notice the 9 % ABV.
