Flaske 330ml på Skarven 27 Feb 16. Servert i Bådin-glass! Småhissig. Mørk gylden. Uklar. Høyt luftig stabilt skum. Utmerket rik fruktaroma. Mandarin & plommer. Smaken balansert. Fersken & plommer. Litt syrlig og bitter etter hvert. Smaken varer lenge og blir pikant tørr. Litt for mye kullsyre men masse mersmak. Litt bunnfall igjen på flaska.

33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Storo. Pours slightly hazy amber with an off-white head. Hoppy aroma dominated by citrus with notes of tropical fruits, pine, malt and hints of herbs and caramel. Moderate sweet with lovely fruity flavours and a balanced bitterness. Tasty, refreshing and sessionable APA. Quite delicious!

A gusher, but that might be my fault. Another nice hop showcase - a good IPA recipt with a hop that stands well alone. Lemon sherbet, spices, herbs.

Bottle at Skarven shared with Rune. Low fluffy lasting white head. Hazy amber body. Fruity grass aroma dominated by citrus. Mild and yet bitter lemon grass flavor with a nice hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long relatively dry finish. Nice surprise.

Anniversary beer, 330ml bottle at Vertshuset Skarven, shared with Skinnyviking. Huge, frothy, beige, lacing head to a cloudy apricot coloured body. Aromatic with mid-sweet lemony hops to the fore. Juicy malts and resinous hops to the taste profile leading to a smooth bittersweet ending. Fine bodied, easy to drink and easy to like, Successful remix (Tromsø 13.01.2015).

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Bankkvartalet. Pours, or more true, slowly gusher, cloudy golden with a massive frothy and fluffy white head. Aroma is strong fruity, lots of citrus, grapefruit. Taste is well balanced, weak crisp hops, sweet citrus fruity, long finish, better than the ordinary Rensåsen.

Foffern (1963) - Bodø, NORWAY - NOV 4, 2014
Bottle at home. Has a nice orange color and is quite unclear. On top of the beer a small, off-white foam. Has a welcoming and fruity aroma. It features dried apricot, fruity hop flowers, freshly cut grass, orange juice and a little dash of herbs, citrus and resin. The taste is dominated by fruity hops with orange peel, citrus and some grapefruit. The finish is dry and consists of dry grass and pale malt. Mouth feel is smooth and slightly silky. The bitterness is solid, but comfortable and balanced. This is a real fruity and hoppy American pale ale. The Citra hop really comes out in this easy drinking beer.
