Tap @ union hotel. Pours cloudy orange gold with decent off white head and big lace. Aromas of passionfruit, goose berry and citrus. A touch grassy and a light caramel over a bit of graininess. Med light body. Bitterness moderate, a touch sharp and mineral but light flavors from malt and hops linger. Fruity, a touch grainy and subtly toasty on finish. Refreshing beer.
Bottle. Pours a hazy copper orange with a thin white head. Aroma: Malt, mild citrus, grass. Mild caramel. Not particularly aromatic. Taste: Creamy malt, caramel, citrus, peach, herbal flavours. Syrupy consistency. Quite syrupy for an IPA. Not as hoppy as most Australian IPAs. Mild lingering bitterness. Medium to full body. Mild carbonation. Not unpleasant, but not particularly tasty either. 330ml bottle into schooner glass. Hazy orange/bronze colour, thin solid white head. Some carbonation visible. Slight aroma of caramel and light fruit. Good body, cleansing taste. Finish is short with a touch of malt balanced by fruity hops. Simple, subdued but nicely balanced. Jado (798) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - MAR 17, 2016
330 ml bottle. Orange body topped by a thin white head. Aromas of peach, lemon, pineapple, grass and a little pine needles. Rather malt foward in the mouth at first before a zesty hop note sneaks in. Agree with other commenters it’s more APA than IPA, but quite a tasty beer nonetheless. jonas (7549) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - OCT 26, 2015
Bottle. Orange amber, low offwhite head. Light papery malt, metallic earthy bittering hops. Medium light body. Clayish herbal finish. Did not get much of the aromatic hops - old bottle (bb feb 16)? Maris (1498) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - OCT 22, 2015
UPDATED: DEC 1, 2015 From a 330ml bottle on 22/10/2015. Pours a clear deep golden with a medium head. Has a mild aroma of caramel with a bit of fruit on top. Take a sip and there’s a decent dash of caramel malt, some indistinct fruitiness, and a moderate hop bittereness. I can’t detect any Sauvin in there at all. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Doesn’t really present as an IPA for mine, as it’s pretty light on for hops. More a just decent, malt forward APA.

Bottle. Looks, smells and tastes like more of a pale ale that an all out IPA. Nice enough hop flavour but could do with a bit more IPA kick gam (3909) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAR 21, 2014

Ruby colour with a big head. Sweet and malt biscuit over an astringent under lying grippy bed of vegemite and sourness. Very nice. Vanz (189) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 11, 2013
Citrus aroma, gigantic head, lovely colour, bit too citrusy, lacking complexity. Sevenlee (1846) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - OCT 3, 2013
