Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice, wood, dark malt, roasted, malt and hop bitter. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160402]

Keg Third of a Pint at The Bottle Shop, Bermondsey, London in May 2016 - Opaque Black in colour. Good creamy tan head. Slight lacing. Very Malty; roasty malts, slightly burnt, espresso coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice notes, hint of caramel. Hoppy; good hop bitterness. Bitter roast coffee malty and hoppy throughout.
