Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this beer! Smooth fresh beer. Nice smooth, easy to drink. Hints of grain, smooth caramel. Great with a moderate bitter aftertaste. Fresh and malty. Nice. Koelschtrinker (20229) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - NOV 12, 2015
Milder, fast platt herber Antrunk. Steigend bitter ohne besondere Aromen, erst spät ein wenig hopfig werdend. Frisch, leicht grasig. Deutlich herb bleibend, etwas metallernes Ende. 8/8/8/7/7/7 Beerhunter111 (20354) - P´Castle, GERMANY - OCT 21, 2015
Many thanks to kevnic2008 for sharing! Pours slightly hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma of grain, pale malt, honey and some hops. Taste is mild hoppy, grain and sweet pale malt. kevnic2008 (11980) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - OCT 17, 2015

on tap at the brewery biergarten on the hill rather than at the old brewery. quite a gentle pils - bright golden with a slim but lasting head; simple rice pudding aroma with faint hay; light tinny bitterness with a bit of fresh white asparagus in the background

It’s golden with a creamy, white head and the aroma has notes of grain, malt and light cabbage. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, grain, straw and a hint of cabbage. The finish is slightly dry. fonefan (48737) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 9, 2010

Draught @ Bahr-Keller, Friedhofsweg and Steinsdorfer Strasse, Schonbrunn im Steigerwald, Bavaria, Germany 96185.
Served in Ceramic mug - Light unclear light to medium orange yellow color with a huge, creamy to frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, caramel notes, light hoppy, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, caramel, sugar and malt sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Draught at Bähr-Keller, Schönbrunn im Steigerwald (the beer is now brewed at Göller, still following the old recipe). Probably golden, rich creamy head. Grassy nose. Dry with slim light body. Grassy hops leads to a resiny bitter finish. Not the crispest, nor the softest of Franconian beers, but a solid effort nevertheless. rauchbier (3882) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - SEP 17, 2004
Bottle, Stöhrenkeller in Bamberg. Faintly hazy amber, moderate white head and gentle condition. Delicate honey and hops in the nose, sweet malt and more hop in the mouth. Finish is sweet and slightly malty with a developing hop bitterness. This brewery may now be closed but I will be happy to be proved wrong.

Malty aroma, some hops. Cloudy yellow coloured. Not much head. Malts, hops and bitter in its taste. Refreshing pilsener.
