Served on tap at Stone’s 16th Anniversary Celebration. The appearance is a gold hue with a bit of a chill haze. Lots of floral and herbal notes with lemon and green tea as well. The red wine barrel seems to add a nice grainy oak with light grape and dry wine additions. The effect is fairly subtle. Lighter mouth then I remember the regular version. An enjoyable brew but the regular version fresh would still triumph this for me.

Pour on tap, slightly hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big herbal, grassy, some boozy notes, some slight tea into a bit of oak, slight tart red wine, vanilla into a bit of vinegar. Taste was a mix of grass, earth, herbal, green tea notes into oak, slight grass into some booze, oak, touch of vinegar, slight citrus notes, finishing bitter, slightly tart.

"This one still changes the base beer significantly while still leaving some semblance of the beer you started with. Tart and sweet red wine cuts through the hops, but they are still present, along with the green tea in both aroma and flavor. Liked slightly better than the red wine Cali-B."

Very cool brew, green tea has died out a bit giving way to some tannic red wine qualities. Very tasty.

Slightly hazed orange pour with a white head. Extremely pronounced wine aroma. Lots of oak, some caramel malt, a light tartness, and a lot of green apple. A bit of bread, some mild tea, and alcohol. The flavor is a bit on the boozy side with a strong green apple flavor. Notes of tea, citrus, and grass. Heavy red wine and oak flavors, moderate caramel sweetness, and a light tartness.

On tap at brewery. Hazy golden with a creamy white head. Interesting green tea and red wine aroma with notes of caramel and grain. Bright medium bodied palate. Tastes of honey, bitter green tea, cereal grain, caramel and red wine with an oaky grainy finish.

Deep orange pour with a light haze and a thin white head. The nose is very vinous. Lots of soft white pepper and a little bit of light mint. Some very light green tea and herbal aroma. Hoppy/bitter but the barrel kind of killed the hop aromatics. There is a little bit of toasted wood (not really vanilla). The aroma is really delicate and spicy but there are some clashing elements in the flavour. It’s a little bit dead on the palate really even though the aroma is killer

Draft at stone bistro. Clear amber pour, thin head. Caramel malt, herbal, light grape flavor, bitterness, and a bit boozy. I was not a big of this, just okay.
