Dean Swift - RBESG Tasting. Clear gold beer, residual white head. Light hoppy nose. Light semi crisp palate. Mild but rich hops, grassy with some marmalade. A little creamy malt with a touch of green tea. Finishes semi dry with a mildly bitter aftertaste. Interesting - I want a whole bottle to myself.

Bottle at home in London. Lightly haY gold pour, white foam. Big piney citrus hop aroma. Strong sweet flavor, some caramel, toast, dark sugars, light grass and wood. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Lightly warming finish, slightly sticky, some resinous hops, caramel, faint tea, pine. Good beer. 12/11/12/11//12

Bottle @ RBESG 2011 Grand Tasting at Dean Swift. Good hop aroma. Hoppy as hell but with a really good perfumed flavour. Good flavours. Good hops on end. One of the beers of the day. Oakes (17831) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 12, 2011
Cloudy tan. There was a lot of sediment at the bottom of the bottle. The aroma is fruity, hoppy with light green tea and some vanilla - this comes together nicely on the nose. Expressive fruity character. Lots of tea, blends ok with the hops. The tannins add to the total bitterness. The malts are still chewy Stone, but they are understated. Definitely one of the better Stone brews.
