Angry Boy Brown pours a deep mahogany color with a light khaki head.
The smell is of molasses and light spices, especially nutmeg and black pepper. Wet skunky hops come through.
Taste-wise, this beer is much hoppier than expected. Wet skunky, resinous pine hop flavors dominate and the malts take a back seat.
The mouthfeel is medium thick, dry, with very light carbonation.
Overall this is a decent beer. Maybe a few too many hops for the style with a bit dry of a finish.
330 mL bottle shared by ebone1988 for the stupid book. The pour is a mahogany brown color with a light egg shell colored ring of head and maybe a spot or two of lace. The aroma is seeet and candy forward. There is a little bit of bitter malt and a light toffee on the back end. Very light. The flavor is a little sharper. The alcohol up front is a bit of a turn off for me. There is a light fruitiness and the candy is there. The alcohol is overwhelming the other items. The mouth feel is a little light but decently carbonated with a lingering malty alcohol coming through heavily. Not too bad. 6 4 6 4 14 ebone1988 (1919) - Dearborn, Michigan, USA - JUN 25, 2017

Brown orange robe with a thin white head.
Nose on torrefied malt and some flowery hops, and a hint of yeast.
Attack is foamy, body is light/medium, on hops and notes of coffee.
Finish is quite sharp, hoppy and bitter.
Quite balanced between malt and hops, not too complex, fresh for a brown ale, not dry and not sugary. colui72 (1024) - HONG KONG - MAR 6, 2017
Pours hazy brown, with a medium white head and some lacing. Aroma of caramel and roasted malts. Taste doesn’t get too away from the nose, quite bitter and malty, with a fruity after tasty. Light body, average ale, drinkable.

Bottle @ Xi’an Craft Beer Festival. Pours hazy dark amber with a modest off-white head. Malty aroma with notes of caramel, some mild fruity and hoppy notes and hints of pine. Moderate to medium sweet with pleasant mixture of mild hoppy flavours and malty ones. Finishes lightly bitter. Pleasant one, easy to drink and well integrated alcohol.
