COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This insolent, snotty and mean-spirited brew is pungently hoppy and wickedly strong. High in malt gravity (1.080), bitter in hoppiness (90 IBU), aggressive in aroma (double dry-hopping with Centennial), Bakayaro! Ale just doesn’t give a rat’s ass. We invite you to come in, have a pint and let those around know exactly how you feel.

jdjuice (500) - Kumamoto, JAPAN - FEB 17, 2016
Pours with a really nice crema head. Nice thick, creamy body, and quite hoppy. Hoppiness kind of overshadows the malt flavors, but I’m really digging the full body on this.

biirusaikou (2705) - - APR 25, 2015
Draught at Naka-Meguro taproom. Toffee, rich cereals, floral hops, dry fruit, spice, bitter finish. Not bad but quite boozy and a bit tiring on the palate.

330ml bottle from Mitsuya’s in Asagaya. Poured into a snifter. Hazy, rich caramel brown with a modest white head. Floral, pine, rye aromas present. Caramel, brown sugar, and toffee taste abound. Hope shine through on the finish.

GenkiGonzo (1096) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 3, 2014
Draught at Bungalow. Copper brown colour, small head. Aroma has fruity hops, rye and some sweet malty notes. Flavour is mostly the malts with some rye and a nice bitter hop finish. A great mix of flavours.

KansaiBeerLvrs (5363) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 27, 2013
8.5% 1000 yen tasting set at Basamichi taproom(200 yen more than Numazu). Quite a dark glossy brown with reddish tints & a beige head. Malty, chocolate sweet nose. Full smooth bodied beer, the taste is smokey, chocolate, toffee, a bit of heft to it but just a hint of citrus hop notes over a great  malty complex body. Nice.

shoulderbroken (4256) - Tokyo, JAPAN - OCT 30, 2011
Keg at Harajuku taproom. Red amber almost brown coloured with small off white/beige head. Aroma is bit spicy and with lots of hoppy bitterness (b.o./cat pee) and pine elements. Real prickly spikiness in the mouth. Taste is quite boozy and nice and bitter. Very nice.

A solid drop. I see the Arrogant Bastard refernces. Big hops - no HUGE hops with a thick, scalding body finishing with a scattershot of brutal hops. THe slightly roasty full body is a perfect springboard for the PNW hops. Solid showing here.
