Hazy gold with HUGE head.
Slight bitterness. Sweet and slightly oxidized.
Nothing special. Ho Hum... douglas88 (9888) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 13, 2017
On tap. Pours a clear yellow color with a large white head. A nice smooth pils malt and lemon nose. Sweet, light tart lemon hops, bready. Very smooth. Solid brew. shoulderbroken (4256) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JUL 5, 2016
Tap at CBM Sendai. Nice, lots of citrus, bit of lemon but more orange than anything. Taste has some maltiness too in the body. Kind of sweet, caramel. Good stuff.

Tap at Yellow Ape. Crystal clear deep gold, nice lacing. Bright Saaz aroma, crackery, floral hop. Lively minerally feel, a fair amount of hopping, but a lingering flavour of sweet malt that holds in nicely in check. Really crisp and refreshing, perfect for this 36 degree day. Hazy and light amber. Med head. Earthy saazy nose. Sweet pale malt, balanced mellow bitterness. Good pils.

Baird's Cool Breeze Pils 6% 40 IBU
A bit higher ABV than I look for in a summer sipper but the cloudy gold topped with a wisp of foam is appealing.
Fresh herbal mint and green hoppy aroma. Medium bodied with a crisp semi-dry finish.
The taste is whole grain breadiness with a herbal I'm guessing noble hop bite. Nicer than Little Norway but I'm gonna put that down to freshness. Lagers like IPAs are meant to be drunk fresh in my book.

Bottle. Aroma: floral, spicy, lemony, husky. Light bodied but enough to feel substantial. Has that caramelised bread crust feel in the malt with a dry, spicy and bitter finish. Refreshing. Pretty good pils. biirusaikou (2705) - - JUN 29, 2015
Draught at Bulldog. Served in horrible condition, almost flat and warm... I do see good potential though with decent bready cereal body followed by green hops and a bitter finish. willisread (4028) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 9, 2015
On tap at Naka-Meguro Taproom summer 2014. Clear golden color with soapy white head. Lemongrass, lime and some citrus on the nose. Hop forward with malts only coming across muted on the palate. Very refreshing with a medium body. Crisp and dry finish. Not really a pilsner fan but this was nice. mds (2256) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 17, 2014
Draught at Baird Nakameguro
Pours clear orange with a large frothy white head.
Smells of grass, orange, herbs. Taste is crisp, fresh grassy hops. Really enjoyable.
