cloudy amber color distinguished nose. Citrusy sweet, but too sweet. Almost cloying. However not that bitter in the finish. Not that well made and not that exciting KansaiBeerLvrs (5141) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 6, 2013
500 yen at Bungalow’s 1st Anniversary Baird tap takeover. 6.5% a cloudy honey gold similar(though slightly darker) to the Wheat King. Nice rich golden ale aroma, mellow body but undercarbed. The flavor is biscuity, a bit spicy, fruity & just plain tasty. All in all a solid golden ale though undercarbonated but I suspect that isn’t their fault. Draught @ Bungalow. Bright and cloudy orange, low head. Subtle aroma of fruit and hop. Medium bodied. Sensational blending of flavours- citrus as well as passionfruit, some honey. Crisp and bitter finish. Superbly sessionable. KyotoLefty (10254) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 27, 2013
Tap at Bashamichi. Pretty orange color. Tight, fine head. Estery, fruity nose, peaches and melon. Nice malt flavor, lots of hops. Biscuits, oranges, slightly topical. Nice fruit with a bit of tartness. Good.
