Hazy gold, thin head. Honeyish, nectary sort of hops on the nose. Very floral, moderate bitterness at best, just a very nice drinkable pale. Honeyish, moreish finish. Tonkun (1296) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 17, 2015
Tap at Bashamichi tap room. Cloudy golden pour. Citrus, lemon zest, floral, hop. Lighter than expected body. Nice carbonation and bitter finish. More depth would be nice mrjez (611) - Osaka, JAPAN - JUN 9, 2015
UPDATED: OCT 15, 2015 On tap at Lingua World Cafe. Had all the hallmarks of a well-done piney fruity IPA or XPA, good balance, nice hop taste up front, but fell away a bit quickly resulting in a thin watery mouthfeel. I could down plenty of these, but for something tagged as imperial and boasting 90 IBUs it left me feeling a tad disappointed that it couldn’t linger and evolve on the palate. Draught at Bashamichi Tap Room, Yokohama. Cloudy orange with thick foamy white head. Lovely citrus hoppy orange aroma. Great Tate of citrus orange hops, juicy fruits. Excellent malty backbone. Tangy hoppy long bitter finish. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Excellent. jinroh (1524) - ESTONIA - MAY 26, 2015
Bottle. Pours nice hazy, orange, initially a huge head that comes down slowly. Aroma is typical Baird, soft, malty, fragrant hops. Immensely enjoyable and hinting me what is to come. Taste has some strong malt body covered with edgy hop blanket. Nice fruitiness mixed with bitter freshness. Ending up in a dry and bitter note. Really well made, highly enjoyable.

Draught at The Roundhouse. Rich bouquet of tropical, citrus and floral hops, decent biscuit malt backbone, sharp bitter finish. Very flavorful and hoppy seasonal imperial pale ale. willisread (3293) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 8, 2015
On tap at Harajuku Taproom May 2014. Aromas of pineapple, papaya and passion fruit with a slight hint of wild strawberry. Compared with a hop bouquet on the nose, but taste is simply bitter. Which is fine, I was just hoping to be surprised a little more I guess. Nice bitter pale ale with a hop bomb bitter finish. KansaiBeerLvrs (5096) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUN 8, 2014
Bottle 330ml from CBB take out. 6.5% Served in a pint glass at home. A semi-cloudy gold pour with a big filmy head that leaves decent lacing plus a long-lasting film coating the beer. A really good, rich aroma of floral/tropical fruit notes. Medium bodied but with a creamy smooth mouthfeel. The taste is sweet, piney, fruity and has a solid malt profile giving it some sweet biscuit and caramel notes. A very solid IPA. GenkiGonzo (1092) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAY 22, 2014
UPDATED: MAY 23, 2014 Bottle from Yamaoka. Dark gold colour, almost no head. Wonderful tropical fruit hoppy aroma and flavour. JorgeLee (2091) - Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2014
On tap in Baird Harajuku. Again, lighter end of IPA colour spectrum. Decent balance. Hoppy and bitter. More bitterness and less flower fruitiness than some of the other Baird hop fests. It was nice, but I drank it side-by-side with the Fruitful Life Citrus and found the delicate tastes of the latter more interesting.
