Amber, creamy head, leaving ring-lace.
Citric and peachy hops.
Honey in the back of the throat.
Fullbodied, light burn, a hint caramel.
Good balance and good to drink.

Bottle (in NZ). Very sweet at first, but the bitterness increased significantly as I worked my way down the glass. It worked, but hard to say why. TimE (6259) - Tokyo, JAPAN - OCT 19, 2008
Dark golden-amber color. Huge aromatic nose of pears and peaches. Leads into a hoppy, fruity mouth upfront and big bitterness in the finish. Very untraditional, but reminds me of some of my favorite pilsners. Not sure I would call this an Imperial, but great beer none the less.
