Mild roasty malt initial, with subtstantial yeast notes / some tangy hoppiness, and then rich caramel / smooth, light sweet finish, which fades quickly. Thin-medium bod. Tasty stuff. Could use a bit more body or malt.

Draught at CBB. Rich grainy malt, caramel and gum ball and fruits. SOmewhat sweet but restrained. Light body, good flavor for an Irish Red. TheJollyOne (230) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 8, 2009
On hand pump at the brewery. Huge pillowy head, extremely long lasting. Dark hazy amber body. Nose of biscuit, light caramel, and soft hops. Taste is very controlled and well balanced. Taste was caramel and gently roasted malts, with a rosy hop backbone. Amazingly smooth palate, very soft, medium fill. Its a very quiet, laid back, ale, but it works beautifully.
