The pour is golden orange in color with a white head. A very citrusy aroma to the beer, and quite a strong tropical character too. Some sweet malt aromas, but really dominated by the fruit. The flavor is more of the same. Sweet tropical and citrus fruit character, a little bit of malt, sweet berries, and maybe just a hint of tartness to it. Really easy to drink. bhensonb (15766) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 4, 2010
Bomber. Pours a hazy light copper with a good foamy white head. Light citrus rind aroma. Medium body with coarse carbonation. Flavor is mild/light caramel with a lot of fruit - that’s kind of citrus. There’s a light touch of citrus sour. Goes mildly grainy in the finish. The fruit persists, and it’s not exactly bitter, but it’s certainly far from sweet. Interesting ale.
