No head by the time the beer reached me. Hazy amber body. Citric white wine grape aroma with fruity resiny notes. Dry white wine grape and resin taste with fruity spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish citric white wine grape aftertaste with fruity resiny notes. Lovely. Really dominated by New Zealand hop aroma. (0.25l draft at Popeye, Tokyo. Menu said it was 8%.) Draught at Q-Brick. Slightly unpleasant astringency to the nose, with dry lemon and light malt. Light yellow, very cloudy. Flavor is citrus, both from fruit and hops, and light, clean malt, good sour edge. Somewhat yeasty, wiht a dry finish. On tap at Qbrick. Light citrus fruit aromas -- grapefruit and some lemony scents. Dirty yellow, cloudy. Sweet fruit flavors and honey, not really so hoppy. Touches of sourness in mid palate. Tap. Baird are really producing some very nice hoppy beers of late - and this might just be the pick of them. Lots of citrus (obviously) - but with an underlying navel orange sweetness with a prick of tart bitterness as well. Some spruce and pine, with a good solid mouthfeel. Would sit well alongside most SD hoppy beers.
