On tap at CBM Koenji. Murky golden orange color with a medium-sized off-white head. Nice aromas of papaya, passion fruit and cinnamon with slight barnyard undertones. Barnyard aromas become more prevalent as it warms to room temperature. Nice balance between sweet and dry on the palate Some arugula and pepper present as well.Nice fruity dry finish. Bottle from Asahiya. Light sweetish nose, with floral and yeast notes. Dark copper/amber color. Rather sweet initial / complex mid palate with citrus, spice, and some grass / nice moderate sort-of dry finish. Quite a hefty body for a saison, but clean. Very drinkable and pleasant.
