Bottle. A really dark brown beer, topped by a dense, finger-thick beige head. Quite weak aroma, with roasted, almost coffee-ish malts, some dried fruits and a touch of toffee and nuts. Its pretty dry on the palate, medium bodied, with roasted and burnt malts. Some bitterness. Long finish with roasted and burnt malts dominating. Hints of licorice too. Not very intersting this one, at least not my kind of stout. 131231

360mL bottle, pours black with a khaki head. Aroma of dry roasted malts, light coffee and a light bready quality. Flavour of mildly roasted malt, light espresso and that bready quality mentioned - smooth palate with a medium roasty finish. Pretty generic though decent.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2015 330ml bottle (Koht, Tallinn) (6:4:6:4:13=3.3)
Nice roasty aroma. Pleasantly dark, nice tan head. Pleasant roasty taste. Nicely drinkable stout. Roasty. Finish has a bit of coffee. 3.3 probably an under-rate but nothings saying wow.
Rerate: 330ml bottle (Hopner, Tallinn, meet the brewer tap takeover) (7.4:7:4:14=3.5)
Lovely rich malty aroma, quite soy-like. Taste beautifully rich. Rich dark roast. Lovely full palate, but not heavy at all. Tons of bitter hops in the finish. Excellent stout. 5% - fantastic. Rerates are good, at least when theyre as good as this. Yummy stout - could session.
