Decent beer, really good for an ordinary dry stout phfyysik (1395) - Tartu, ESTONIA - MAR 5, 2016
ABV 5,0%. Pours dark brown, almost black, with pinkish beige head. Aroma is caramel, crispy bread, cocoa, coffee, some sweetness. Taste is watery, quite light. Some sourness, burned meat, smoke, dark coffee, bitter fruits. Taste comes out specially in after. Nice beer! austinpowers (2832) - San Francisco, California, USA - APR 7, 2008
Bottle from Tanakaya. Yep, it’s a stout all right. Not oatmeal sweet. Not dry like Guinness. Very nicely done. Unlike a Yebisu "Stout", Baird’s really IS a stout. Quite bitter in the finish.

Draught at Baird Naka-Meguro Taproom. Almost black. Gently roasy coffee aroma. Dry and creamy, drinks like a Guinness but with way more substance and life. Ligh coffee flavour. Finishes with salty bitterness. A pleasant easy going stout. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - APR 6, 2011
Bottle. Very dark brown with thick brown head. Strong dark malt scent with something else; possibly intentional sourness or house yeast. Sweet cocoa with a slightly off finish and more chocolate in the aftertaste. maekchu (4024) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JUN 29, 2012
Bottle (gift from Neko-chan). Smooth chocolate roastiness with some coffee notes. Dark brown with a 1-cm light beige head. Creamy mild chocolate flavor. Pretty consistent from initial to finish, without much development in flavors. Thin-medium body. Had this years ago, and it wasn’t nearly this good. A very pleasant mild stout. HenryXXX (205) - British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 23, 2012
Pours a black with a beige head that fades quickly. The nose has bitter chocolate, and a fig and anis bread. The pallet is very light and smooth. The Flavors are roasted malts, copper penny/minerally and finishes very light with a bit of hoppy lingering.
