COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This brew bursts with hop character while still achieving a sublime balance due to a firm, robust malt backbone. It is a cross between an English-style and American-style India Pale Ale that is full-bodied and refreshing all at once.

Aroma of malt, fruits, floral notes, herbal notes, hint of hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. On the restrained English side of IPA. Smooth and nicely balanced.

Grumsete brun med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter ananas, eple og appelsin. Mild bitterhet som kommer sent, noe maltig smak mot karamell og noe sjokolade.

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2015 Rerate: Tap at Naka-meguro taproom. Very malt-foward aroma with some apricot, raisin and prune and light grassy hops in the background. Very malt-foward IPA. Very British in a way. Full-bodied with average carbonation. Fruity and malty finish. Did the recipe change? I don’t know...On tap at Nakameguro Taproom. Served in a stemmed tulip. Hazy golden orange color with a nice soapy white head that lasted almost throughout. Big fruity and resiny aroma present on the nose: pineapple, papaya and pine needles. Very well balanced on the palate with a a very hop-forward bitterness that shines through with a a nice sweet malty foundation to hold it up. Creamy mouthfeel with a nice long dry bitter finish. Solid IPA.

Opaque crimson, medium white head. Roasty, citrus and apple on the nose - very interesting. Thick mouthfeel, almost velvety smoothness - roasty, some caramel. Balanced with some noteable bitterness - finishess bitter, smooth and roasty. Delightful.

330ml bottle (Pothouse, Tallinn)
Quite a stinky aroma, some sweetish biscuity malts, but some rough bitterness. Simple light palate, very light for 6%, it’s a quaffable beer certainly. But it’s full, and the carbonation is pleasant. More caramelly aroma later as it warms, the stinkiness subsided and the 5 became 6. Dunno why this didn’t grab me so much, it’s a solid beer, but not a great one.
