Bottled. Slighty hazy amber colour with a mediumsized beige head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is floral and fruity with some berries and a nice caramelly and bready maltiness to it. Flavour is very nicely balanced malts and hops, giving a nice sweetish fruity, floral and musty flavour along with some nice bready notes as well as nice lingering bitterness in the finish.
fully cloudy copper-brown beer under a persistent beige foam; correct lacework; flowery hoppiness with notes of berries; a good malt backbone, solid carbonation; astringent and fairly bittter, notes of umami (a recurrent property for this brewery); quite dry, citrusy hoppiness and more flowery notes in a long lingering bitterness jmgreenuk (9300) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - MAY 17, 2014
Bottle at Brew Beers and Ciders, Bangkok. Poured a murky medium amber with a frothy white head and some broken white lace. The aroma is light malt hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a massive chewy malt light citrus palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.!Canít believe what I paid for this. Not worth half of what it cost me. Murky amber colour, lots of yeasty sediment with a decent head. Bready sweet malt and floral hops. Balanced bitterness and easy in the mouth. In the middle for sure. Pdubyah (724) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 3, 2014
Iíd readily have these in the fridge as a go to beer for me to enjoy, price being of course the reason not to. It has a very low IBU of 55 for an IPA, and you can tell, as there is no bitterness to speak of. Great carbonation, nice caramels and sweet hints. This would be a great watching TV beer is what this would be,

On tap @ a bar in Tokyo. Aroma is lemon, grapefruit, hops and tropical fruit juice. Appears copper with a thin foam. Taste is very bittersweet with lemon, candy sugar sweetness, caramel, biscuit and surprising booze. Overall, very good. A rating. 3fourths (9331) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 31, 2014
Fresh bottle at Brothers Beer in Auckland, January 2014 date. Jujube gummi candy, kumquat, green papaya and starfruit hops; malt seems English in that brined cherry way... esters give it more of a peach and melon fruitiness... I guess itís a menagerie of fruits in the nose, yes a menagerie! Lychee and agave and orange blossom... quite an exotic fruit aroma, much different than you typically find in hoppy new world beer. Even some sort of triple sec / grand marnier (which is barrel aged orange blossom cognac brandy) notes in the finish, itís a strange sort of spirit effect but without any noticeable ethanol. Soft malt texture with fine natural carbonation make for an enjoyable delivery. Big ups for Baird creating something unique here. Iím not in love with it, itís a little too sweet, too fruity and the tropical fruit and brandy / cognac notes arenít what I go for, but itís certainly well executed and a testament to the creativity and talent at Baird.
