dcmchew (104) - Bucharest, ROMANIA - JUN 26, 2017
Brown-tinged dark orange, with a nice, dense light beige cap. Nose has dark banana chips, breakfast cereal, faint chocolate, fresh bread, light spices. Sweet spiced bread, with some toasted crust and some caramel. Hints of cheap chocolate, too. Bruised banana, faint tartness. Aftertaste is sweet and wheaty. Medium body and carbonation, not too heavy, but fluffy. A nice dunkelweizen, but not in the top of its class.

10/10/9/9/8/9

Seems like I have an old bottle. hoping the date on it is te bottling date (still old). I have only seen this in Michigan. The pours is fine, it is much like an aged aventinus, lots of carbonation, fizzy head. Te smell is like those fizzy orange candies. Taste is nice not too sweet, herbal, lots of ripe fruit. It aged well actually.

Hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, wheaty, caramel, yeasty and banana. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish

Grima (2394) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - FEB 23, 2012
The beer in the glass is dark brown, very cloudy, with a fine creamy head. It smells roasted malty and nutty, subtly yeasty. Starts malty and sour, slightly roasty, with very good yeast-aroma. The middle part is slightly yeasty sourish, with some roasted malts. Goes into a nutty finish, slightly sour and roasty, with a subtle aroma of roasted almonds.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 6, 2011
Brown-yellow colored, little yellow head. Strong banana aroma with rich yeast as well, spices here as well. Medium bodied. Flavor is also strongly sweet with banana dominating, some grains and acid here too. Aftertaste is bit carbonated.

demitriustown (1192) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - JUN 1, 2011
16.9 oz bottle: Aroma has a big banana, clove and yeast characteristic. Appearance is a cloudy orangish/brown with a thick white head that diminishes rather quickly. Taste is bready, banana, clove, yeast, and a light malt note, very subtle but in the backing. Palate is light to medium carbonation, with a yeasty aftertaste that doesn’t stick around for a while. Overall, Decent a nice Dunkelweisse. Cheers!

Kristall-König (2820) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - MAY 23, 2011
Im Geruch liegen bananige Aromen, Nelken. Dazu malzig-süße Töne. Süß-bananiger Start. Mitte voluminös bananig, hefig mit Gewürznelke. Malziger, etwas schokoladiger Abgang im bananigen Umfeld. Süß, bananiges HW, welches zu gefallen weiß.
