This was my first beer off the plane in Los Cabos. Dark beer with a big, sweet malty nose. This is a sweet stout with lots of brown sugar, molasses, some roasted grains and light toast. Easy drinking malty stout. Acaro (308) - Madrid, SPAIN - MAR 13, 2017
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2017 Aroma: Black roasted coffee.
Appearance: Brown almost black color with hazy liquid and light brown head.
Taste: Light sweet notes with heavy bitter touch.
Palate: Full body with oily liquid and soft carbonation. Bitter finish.
Overall: Good beer (not the best one of its kind). Roasted coffee feeling and nice bitter finish. fletchfighters (1574) - AUSTRALIA - NOV 8, 2016
Nitro on tap at the brewery
Black pour, light Tan head. Creamy looking with the nitro. Little bit of lacing.
Nose is sweet rolled oats, Brown sugar, astrignent coffee.
Taste is astrignent coffee. Not bad but could be softer and a touch sweeter.
Light bodied with the nitro. Good addition to the beer. Little bit of burnt malt in the back but not a bad beer by any stretch. ZxWx (91) - MEXICO - NOV 3, 2016

Bottle, 355ml. Opaque dark brown with a frothy to minimal light brown head. Aromas of lactose, roasted malts, grainy oats. Full bodied, moderate to fizzy carbonation. Creamy and oily. Medium sweet, medium to light bitter. Deep roasted character into a sourish lactose finish.

Bottle, 355ml. A dark beer with a minimal brown head. Aromas of lactose, nuts, roasted malts and alcohol. Taste is bitter with some carbonation and moderate astringency. Medium to robust bodied, soft and somewhat oily. Aftertaste of coffee and lactose. Somewhat amateurish. DoCerveza (2) - MEXICO - FEB 20, 2016 does not count
Rod_beer (73) - DF, MEXICO - DEC 5, 2015
UPDATED: JAN 12, 2016 Pours a dark, almost black, brown color with small tan head. Coffee, chocolate and fruity aromas, roasted malt. Toasted coffee flavor, it has more of a watery mouth feel than the classic characteristic full body that stout beer has. That is probably its weakness. Not so bad, but there are better stouts. Dark brown, chocolate and coffee, subtle liquorice character and a long, sweet chocolatey finish. Full body. Good, complex stout.
