Lightly hazed orange/amber pour with white head and lace. Aroma is not much at all. Flavor is semi sweet malt with a light medium hop finish. Medium bodied with ok carbonation. A little lacking all round Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - MAR 4, 2014
Draft at brewery (summer 2013): Hazy amber-red hue. Thinnish malt flavors, though it had a nice bread crust element. Curiously fruity. Alcohol was kind of hot / fusel. Rind-like bitterness. OK beer. Leighton (22297) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 22, 2013
Keg at the brewpub - Cabo. Noted as 7% but this doesn’t taste that strong. Pours clear gold, lightly effervescent with a foamy, white head. Probably one of the weaker efforts. A bit of diacetyl presence, some mellow pine, bread, hints of tangy citrus. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation and creamy mouthfeel. Alright finish, just some bready malts and mild piney bitterness. So so. bytemesis (9191) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 10, 2012

Pours clear red, white head. Aroma has notes of some biscuit, caramel, touch of metallic/pine hops. Taste is similar, with biscuit, caramel, some metallic hops, and a weird finish. Not bad. rougeau13 (3183) - Richmond, Texas, USA - AUG 15, 2010
Draft at Baja Brewing. Labeled on menu as Peliroja Red. Better than most beer you can get in the Cabo area, but still insubstantial. No head bboeckl (142) - Grafton, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 25, 2009
Had this at the Brewery in Mexico. "OH, Honey, let’s open up a brew pub in Mexico! We will serve watered-down mexican donkey piss but noone knows beer in mexico and the dumb-ass tourists won’t know much else than shitty tasting macro brews so it doesn’t matter if our beer is watery shit." Big disappointment and $4 bucks is a bit over the top for shitty beer in Mexico. Strykzone (7624) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUL 8, 2008
Sampled at the brewpub. An amber colored beer with a nice light tan head. Good retention. Cloudy. It offers a pleasant aroma of lightly roasted malt and a splash of hop. Taste is hop dominated with a malty background. Finish is hop and fruit. It features nice bitterness and is surprisingly tart. Very flavorful. Enjoyable.
