Tried on tap at Piwnica Bakalar, Novosibirsk. Colour - light lager - straw. Foam - white, short-lived. Fragrance - hops, honey is barely visible (if not the name, honey would not recognize). Taste - bitter hops in the finish light sweetness. Honey does not feel a strong degree - too. Decent lager, but nothing outstanding. BlackHaddock (7516) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2014
4th Oct 2014. 0.3 litre pour from a tap at a stall on a barge surrounded by market people on the river Vltava, Prague. Was dubious when I realised it was a ’honey beer’ but I liked it.
Good looking, with a copper body and a lasting white head of creamy foam. Aroma is malty with no hint of honey. Taste is also fairly malty with only a mild hop bitterness which has to be searched for. As for the honey, it is very subtle in nature but can be detected if you allow the beer to linger in the mouth and warm up a little. A pleasant surprise, I was not going to have this beer because I am not a huge honey with beer sort of guy, but a Czech chap and his wife recommended it to us and as we were sharing a table, it seemed only polite to indulge them: glad I did. Bottle. Amber color with medium unsteady head. Aroma of malt with nice notes of honey. Taste is lightly bitter with honey nuances. Finish is medium. Honey is very well used in this beer. It’s not bright, but plays supportive role nicely. Good. msbernac (2776) - Krakow, POLAND - MAY 30, 2014

Clear orange to light amber beer, nice creamy white head, little stable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, very malty, some caramel, bit oxidized, sugary, touch of honey. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty sweet start, very malty, some caramel, some citrus, little bitter, herbal touch. Aftertaste: grains, malty, some honey, little bitter. I quite liked this one.
50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted and light cornish to grassy. Bitter, medium sweet and light caramelish. Toasted malty finish. Quack-Duck (9487) - Down South, GERMANY - JUL 10, 2012
bottle from Zly Casy. Clear brown colour, large off-white head. Sweet malty nose. Full-bodied, lovely malty base with a touch of honey and some good aromatic hops in the finish. Not too sweet, the typical Bohemian character is well retained here. Carfi (293) - Rakovník, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 9, 2012
