Draft. A red-brown beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of m alt, bread, and caramel, leading to a dry finish.

I quite enjoyed this beer. Nice malty smell, very smooth drinkability. It would go well with any type of food from a cheeseburger, to pizza to beef stew. Mmm, must make beef stew tomorrow with onion, mushroom, carrot, potatoes, red wine, bay leaves and thyme.

Not even close. This is the best polotmavy ive ever had. Copper clear color with no head. Aroma is biscuit malt, lightly earthy, mild skunky herbal hops. Taste is light sweet maltiness and a bit bland but unoffensive.

Copper color with tan head. Aroma is caramel and cat food. Taste is malty, slightly earthy-bitter. Smooth mouthfeel. Quite bright, but also earthy and bitter. I don’t have much comparison but I suppose it’s a standard Polotmavy.

Butelka. Aromat niezbyt intensywny, słodowy, karmelowy. W pewnym momencie pojawiło się skojarzenie z zapachem...gulaszu z dziczyzny na winie. Kolor ciemnorubinowy coca-cola. Piana biała, średnia, pozostaje do końca w wysokości ok. 0,5cm, ładnie zdobi szkło. W smaku dominują nuty słodowe, karmelowe, słaba goryczka. Wysycenie dość duże. Finisz delikatnie goryczkowy, lekko ziołowy.

Bottle as a gift from my Czech friends. Pours coke brown with a medium soft had, some lacing. The smell mostly reminds me of cat food, but actually and surprisingly not in a terribly bad way. The taste is rather neutral and watery after that. Not much bitterness or sweetness, some low hints of malts and hops.

Tasted on 02.08.15. Delicate malty and caramel aroma with annoying metal. Small head disappearing to thin layer. Clear copper colour. Delicate malty taste with rather unpleasant metallic bitterness. Watery body. Not very enjoyable.

It has moderate foam that unfortunately quickly drops to a thin but persistent foam layer on top of the beer. The aroma is also very limited to slightly dark and a light caramel burnt aroma. Let the watery taste where caramel malt slowly creeps in and the roasted malt leaves a little burnt taste which has a small hint of licorice. It is very good and thirst-quenching, and it’s far from as malt heavy as it first seems. It is easy to drink and really very tasty despite the slightly thin fullness.

Clear ruby brown appearance, medium head. Malty, lightly roasted, balanced sweetness and bitterness. Decent and enjoyable half-dark style.

Bottle 500 ml. Amber color with white head. Aroma: malty and caramel, floral hop. Taste: sweet malt, caramel, fruits, a little hop bitterness.
