Bamsen78 (5562) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - DEC 11, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear dark copper brown with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with hoppy notes and a touch of fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweetish, malty touches and caramel notes. Rather thin body. Bitter finish with mild sourish touches. Acceptable, drinkable, appreciable, but nothing really impressive.

574deadzone (1419) - North Central, Indiana, USA - JUN 5, 2013
A science experiment gone right. Pours a deep, glowing amber-garnet with a healthy beige head that settles slowly and leaves some clinging clumpy lace behind. Nose involves some light caramel and toast along with some faint earthy and spicy hops. As it warms, touches of chocolate and even a savory smoky quality develop. Just the lightest skunkiness presents itself. Pretty sweet flavor with some bitterness involved: light to moderate amounts of either. Medium-light body, active carb, with a toasty herbal bitter finish of moderate length. Really half-way decent, an easy drinker. Malty, but cleansing and crisp. This bottle couldn’t possibly have been fresh, as it had been sitting around collecting dust for who knows how long, but it held up really well, especially for such a low-alcohol brew. Really surprised by that.

hotstuff (5263) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 2, 2013
Backlog rating 1-08-2009 (Bottle) This beer pours a small tan head that quickly dissipated, transparent body, spotty amounts of lacing, fast rising carbonation, and and orange hue. The Aroma is malt, hops and skunky. Ditto for the taste along with tasting watery. The Palate is smooth and this is a light bodied beer. Overall, this beer is boring and lacks character and is a beer that I will not drink again.

Bottle from Pivni Galleri, Prague. Clear bee beer with a small but lasting offwhite head. Malty toffee aroma, caramel, biscuits, roasted, some grassy hops. Malty roasted flavor, caramel, chocolate, some toffee, hoppy notes but not enough to bring good balance. Malty caramel aroma, roasted, hay, some vanilla notes.
