Aroma fresh fruity hints with paired hop elements , sweet malt behind.
Appearance clear amber gold with fine creamy top. Fragmental lace is shown.
Flavor and Palate : Overly sweet with malty fruity character. Ripe fruity ending. Felt bit flat as well.

Bottle. Beautiful red-brown colour, head is not very big nor durable. The expected skunkiness fades away fast leaving the smell of malt with a graininess reminding me of cooked groats, hops, some cherries, ash and very little amounts of wet cardboard and metallic elements. Taste is a quite intensive but also slightly metallic bitterness, nutty hops, caramel and a very light fruitiness. There is also some maltiness in the taste but it is subdued, as this is quite a hoppy vienna - which makes it the more enjoyable for me.

Bottle. Redbrown color, small white head. Caramel fruity aroma. Some caramel tones, light hoppy bitter. drinkable.

500ml bottle (Stockmann, Riga)
4+ Simple light lagery aroma, touch of huskiness, but pretty bland.
4- Very bold caramelly red, small white head.
5- Simple bready taste, with some bitter huskiness too.
3 Unexceptional palate, pleasant carbonation. Not too thin, not to sweet or heavy. Finish is fairly bitter with noble hops, a touch biting occasionally, assisted by the carbonation. A little grassy perhaps too, and definitely there’s some minerally aspects too.
9 Fairly unexciting, but a fairly full flavoured lager. Would massively benefit from being unfiltered and fresh.

Clear red brown beer. Crisp semi dry palate. Light malt with just enough depth of flavour. Roastiness and bitterness are absent. Small amount of hop fruit. A brief banana note and some minerally zing to finish off. Nice beer.

Bottled 500ml. -Very pale amber coloured, small off-white head, caramellish nose. Moderate toasted malt, caramel and brown sugar with dry bitter finish. Quite watery and boring beer.

pivnizub (10665) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - OCT 2, 2010
Bottle: Amber to deep amber coloured, bigger rocky off-white head, sticking to the glass and slowly collapsing; light to moderate roasty and nutty nose with a slght hoppy background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, not really light bodied (for a beer of 11°); slightly lingering hoppy and sweet caramelly finish. Very well balanced and tasty....

(bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a big and tanned foamy head. Slightly ashy and dusty roast-malty aroma with notes of (wal-)nuts and a lighter hoppy touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Roasty malty and slightly ashy taste with notes of caramel and walnuts; medium-dry sweet-bitter finish. Surprisingly full-bodied for a 11° beer. 29.IX.10
