Draught at Soldaten Svejk, Stockholm. (Might have another name as it was only sold as a semi-dark 12° beer from Pivovar Rakovnik.) Clear mahogany colour, firm head. Evident cardamom aroma. Fairly sweet with hard , roasty malt character. Grainy with some butterscotch and lots of cardamom and a touch of cellar old Zhigulevskoye style. Brown sugar dominate the finish. Rather peculiar and unconvincing. JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - JAN 5, 2008
Have not had a light dark beer since Blatz Dark (America’s great light dark beer). True amber color with a thin lid of light beige bubbles. Toasted bread and just a hint of herbal hops with caraway and rosemary. Light brown sugar start with a earthy malt background. Fairly watery at times. Some light spice in the finish and linger. Also a bit of licorice and caramel floating about. Interesting, but not that entertaining. Rune (12730) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 3, 2009
Brilliant clarity to an amber body. Missing head. Dry grainy smell with underlying dark fruits. Caramel malty flavour with a bit of prunes. Bitter fruits in the aftermath. Clean tasting and quite nice towards the end of a long day at the beer festival in Copenhagen (16.05.2009). saxo (18299) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - SEP 23, 2009

Draft @ Bullen, Två Krögare, Malmö. Pours a dark reddish amber color with a longlasting off-white head. Weak roasted malty caramel aroma. Slightly roasted malty caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel finish. bytemesis (8349) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 22, 2012
Bottle. Pours clear deep amber with a small fizzy tan head and no lacing. Aroma is sweet grain, corn, caramel and roasted malt. Flavor is roasted malt, grain, corn syrup, caramel and a faint acidic bile-like note. Finish is mildly bitter. alex_leit (4034) - Minsk, BELARUS - JUL 12, 2015
Bottle 500 ml. Amber color with white head. Aroma: malty and caramel, floral hop. Taste: sweet malt, caramel, fruits, a little hop bitterness. 77ships (9774) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JUL 6, 2016
Thank you tderoeck! 500 ml. green bottle. BBF 12.10.16. Neat apparently this one was a Polotmavý tick. Clear amber, little tanned head. Nose is chemical sweet toffee, cheap Eastern European chocolate, oily syrup, thin chemical plants & malt. Taste is sweet industrial toffee, chemical, bread, very cheap chocolate, honey. Thin, oily & industrial. Very cheap toffee sweetness. Poor industrial dark beer, better than expected, I feared the worst after their Světlé Výčepní. faroeviking (10910) - FAROE ISLANDS - MAY 25, 2009
Draught. Amber colour. Aroma of caramel and malt. The flavour has a soft sweetness with caramel, toasty malt and grains. Lightly bitter finish.
