Bottle, 4.8%. Fruity aroma. Clear dark brown colour, red shine. Small stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted and a little sweet. Has a hint of winegum. There is a little roasted note in the aftertaste. OK, but on the sweet side. Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 7, 2009
Bottle. Low off-white creamy and quickly disappearing head. Dark clear red btrown body. Caramel nut honey roasted malt aroma. Roasted malt aroma with coffeed and caramel. Low carbonation. Short sweet aftertaste. demitriustown (1192) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - JUN 29, 2009
1 pt .9 oz bottle: Aroma is light malt characteristic, a bit skunky, maybe Saaz hops, and just a light hint of some cake. Appearance is a clear light brown with a thick lightly tan head that linger around for quite a while. Taste has got somewhat of a strange taste to it. Hoppier that I thought it would be. Nutty, toffee, chocolate, and a nice malt backing. Palate has got a lightly carbonated clean feel to it, and the aftertaste has an ever so slight malt characteristic. Overall, Nice easy drinking. Wasn’t impressed with the aroma or appearance but pull through in the taste and palate. Cheers! PorterPounder (7970) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 26, 2009
Athens, Ga. - Five Points Bottle Shop - 500 ml bottle. Very dark, ruby red to brown pour with a sift khaki colored head. Good nutty, sweet aroma with hints of chocolate. Stick to your ribs flavor with chocolate notes, caramel, hints of licorice and some brown baked bread. Back end of molasses. Thick, creamy mouthfeel. One of the better Dunkels I have had. Dark ruby brown with a lasting off-white head. Malt and molasses aroma with a little hops and unfermented wort. Sweet toffee and brown sugar flavour. Nice malty and hoppy finish that isn’t too sweet.

This one was a little better than the bakalar amber. Had a nice skunk to it. faroeviking (10913) - FAROE ISLANDS - JUN 22, 2009
Clear red-brown colour. Bit creamish light brownish head. Sweet dark bready roasty malty aroma. Ok mouthfeel. Sweet bready roasty caramel malty flavour. Good but bit too sweet for me. nuplastikk (6289) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 22, 2009
16.9oz bottle. Deep opaque brown. Nutty, pungent brown sugar aroma. Lots of nutty burnt toffee, sweet and malty. There isnt even a trace of hops. Delicate mouthfeel, mild to minimal carbonation. Some light Malta pungency. Enjoyable enough, sort of your Czech Newcastle, with the accompanying quality deficiencies. Light and easy, OK. Pinball (12154) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 21, 2009

50 cl bottle @ VinensVerden, Odense. Pours dark brown with a small creamy head. Nose and taste is sweet of caramel, buiscuit and a hint of butterscotch. A bit of grain. Medium bodied. Too sweet - they forgot the hops? Drinkable.
