Dark lager has caramel sweetish taste; here you can find slight scent of burnt malt. Its taste is full and the foam dense. This brand is immediately intended for refreshing the humankind’s neater half.

Fills an imperial pint with a wonderful chestnut brown liquid adorned with a lush tan-brown head. Perfect dunkel aroma. Malty, dusted malt, nuttiness, hints of carame, and a whiff of smoke. Body is malty and nutty, though some dankness too. Probably not helped by the green bottling as some skunkiness is evident. Burnt caramel malt and burnt coffee roast flavors on the finish imbue it with an off-flavor. and decidedly detracts from the overall experience. Starts of promisingly and seems like it is close to being good, but ends badly off the mark.

Bottle. Poured a dark red brown with a small creamy off-white to tan head that left a little lacing. Aroma is grainy with sweet malty notes, bordering on cardboardy. Hint of toast in a fairly caramelly sweet body, little hint of hops or anything besides malt. Creamy feel, a bit oily.

Bottle thanks to thedm. Deep mahogany color with a thin white head. Pancake syrup nose. Thin, dark sugar sweetness with some baked beans and molassess. Pretty pointless dark lager. Why do they bother to import this?

bottle at Ft Wayne locals tasting courtesy of thedm and hotstuff - Pours clear amber with a thin light tan head. It has a mild lightly roasted malt aroma. The flavor is really sweet. It tastes like a sort of caramel corn syrup mash and is not impressive in the least. It’s light to medium bodied with maybe a touch of hops in the finish. The ratings are considerably higher than I expected. Maybe it lost something crossing the big pond?

500 ml bottle. Deep brown color, tan head that receded quickly. Roasted malt aroma, nothing noteworthy. Smooth roasted malt flavor, slight dark chocolate finish. Medium-light body, medium carbonation. Drinkable.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry toffee finish.
