From Miguel. In Teku glass. Watching House of Cardd 2x07-08. Maybe a bit more sugary and with less dark fruits than desiderable but a fine option and in 50cl. All quads should come this way FatPhil (16953) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 17, 2017
500ml bottle (Metenis 2017, Riga)jinroh (2137) - ESTONIA - APR 9, 2017
Sweet banana and toffee aroma. Big sweet baked banana taste, with tons of toffee too, and some alcohol. Full palate, smooth, maybe a little heavy, and slick with sugars. Alcohol builds, and becomes quite aggressive as the chill lifts off the glass. Lacking the sophistication of an authentic Belgian strong ale.
Pours brown with a bit of foam. Aroma somewhat harsh, strong herbal character, yeast. Taste is sweet and caramelly. Not bad actually. Dry herbal mouthfeel. Very herbal. Sweet glazed sugar and herbal bitterness in the finish.

Off sweet, lots of brown sugar molasses, malty, chocolatey nose. Smooth, malty, medium body, a bit overly sweet but ok. Not bad.

Surprisingly good strong Belgian ale fairly balanced, high alcohol content is felt, but in a balanced beer.
