COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Blended version of Lune. Barley Wine aged in white wine barrel. Limited (brewed once).

Pours hazy amber red with no head. Aroma of white wine, some fruit and yeast. Taste is sweet of wine, prunes, caramel, vanilla. Full body and there is so much flavors. No carbonation. The taste is much better than the smell because there is to much wine in the aroma. I have never tasted anything like this before.

Lore (2775) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 4, 2017
Hazy orange colour, practically no head at all; aroma of sultana soaked in dessert white wine aged for at least a decade; taste is the same and liquid toffee; if I didn’t know that it is a beer and not a tokaji dessert wine I would be in a real trouble to find out it

Per pochi. Frutta bianca, frutta passita, legno, poca schiuma, struttura fantastica. Palato dolce/minerale, finale terrificante per complessità. Peccato non siano tutte così....

Bottle: Poured a flat clear amber color ale with no head and no lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with sugary notes and some vinous notes. Taste is a complex mix of oak and caramelized malt, vinous notes with light dry toffee notes. Body is about average with light oily texture with some warming alcohol notes. Quite a unique and interesting beer with great level of complexity.

Igazi csemegekosár, csak kapkodjuk a fejünket, minden korty valóságos ízfergeteg mázsás súlyú jegyeit hordozza, komótosan csordogálva, olajos lenyomatot hagyva szánknak minden szegletében. A fehérboros jelleg mentén alakul a szerkezet, a lehető legközelebbi rokonságba kerülve azzal, a barley wine-karaktert mindenesetre remekül kiegészítve.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with no real head. Aroma has sweet malts, caramel, toffee, oak, sherry. Low to no carbonation, fine dry and quite oily mouthfeel. Flavour has caramel, grass, grapefruit, very vinious. Very elegant.

500mL bottle, pours a dirty orange with a tiny head. Aroma brings out notes of caramel, a little marshmallow, light vinous notes and vanilla. Flavour is complex, with loads of vanilla upfront, marshmallow, feint white wine, and caramel. Wonderfully integrated, warming and not boozy at all. Rather thin on the palate, with a beautifully vanilla-y and lightly tart finish. Excellent.

Amber with some haze...no head. Doesn’t look great. The aroma doesn’t bring a lot, but on the palate it’s amazing. Very distinctive. Honey, vanilla, golden raisins...all those pale sweet notes. Late harvest wine. Light barrel. The malts have been completely transformed. Some alcohol heat at the back of the throat, but you don’t really taste it on the palate.

HHOK 18. Hazy orange body, no head. Very sweet malt at first, some dough, raisins and chocolate in aroma too. Flavour has vainilla fudge, alcohol, lemon, fruits and pear. Palace in nice oily.

500 ml bottle. #181. BB Dic/2019. Enjoyed at the HHOK18. Courtesy of Brandman.
Murky mid-brown color with no head. Sweet malt, brown sugar, dark fruits, raisins (a lot), yeast and bread in a strong aroma. Some lamp post licking. The flavor is brown sugar, sweet malt, strong alcohol, lemon and pear. Turns a bit boozy when warms up.
