bottle from voldby købmandsgård. waxed, looked nice, but was a bit of a pain to open.
hazy yellow, small white head.
aroma is dominantly sour and grassy. I wonder if it was supposed to be sour, or if it is infected.
Flavor is an improvement. clear sweet honey taste, some malts, and a sour citrussy lemongrassy balance, that tastes like it was purposefully brewed that way. patale is bubbly in a weird way, like it is infected. No grass in the flavor. Not sure i like it that much. pjotrapostou (413) - POLAND - SEP 6, 2017
Intensywnie miodowe, ale przy tym nie za słodkie, ogólne odczucie raczej wytrawne, ale poza miodem niewiele się dzieje. Camons (13523) - Hasselager, DENMARK - SEP 2, 2017
Bottle @ DØE tasting, Aarhus. Pours slight hazy golden with an offwhite head, light lacings. Aroma of malt, yeast, heavy honey, flowers, light dusty, some sweet fruit. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, malt, rich honey, flowers, light bitter fruit. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish. 300817 MiP (16055) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 30, 2017
Bottle at KØ17. Cloudy golden colour. Soapy and sweetish flavour. Hint of wax and honey. I do not like the wax and soap notes very much, but quite well-balanced for a honey beer. NordicV (2556) - Malmö, Sweden, SWEDEN - MAY 28, 2017
Dimmig orange öl med ett vitt skum. Doft och smak av jäst, honung, lätt örtighet och kryddighet. Alkoholen går igenom något i smaken och är något för söt för min smak.

// Golden/ orange color ok foam. Good fruity aromas, well integrated honey, nice yeast influence. Medium body & complexity . Some sweetness , ok balance but on the sweet side. Enjoyable

Jun ’16. A 0.75 l bottle. It poured hazy orange body with big, but short living head. Floating particles inside. Weak aroma, honey, apple, maybe hazelnut, with bread, lightly lager-ish touch and roasted bread malts. Flavor, on the other hand, was much stronger, lightly sweet and gets more sweeter later on. Honey, light spicy, especially black pepper and lightly yeasty. Grainy malt was overwhelmed by the honey but still present a little bit. Alcohol was extremely well hidden in its full body. Long, cloying honey and sugary finish. A fine honey ale, gotta love Baladin, although not that complex as some of their other beers.
