COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The first 100% Italian beer made with Italian ingredients. An intentionally simple beer: Italian water, barley malt, hops, yeasts and two Italian spices (bergamot and coriander) which combine to create harmony and originality. A beer which suggests more or less daring combinations, but more importantly marks a turning point in the Italian production of craft beer. Nazionale, is excellent as an aperitif and goes well with any dish. 13.6° EBC 10

Cloudy blond color. This beer has a character of puke, straws, yeast. Bottle shock or real poor beer?

2012-06-17, bottle from Eataly, Bologna; Raccolta Luppolo 2011, 4.5% ABV, 7-4-7-3-14=35
Cloudy bond color with creamy white head, persistent. Mild aroma, some spicy malt and fruity hop, apricots. The mouthfeel is quite astringent because of the high yeast presence; spicy malt flavor, very Belgian, with a moderately sweet and fruity final.
Yeasty and spicy Ale.

Bottle at De Staat. Hazy dark golden with short lived white head. Sweet malts, caramel, barley, orangepeel, coriander, spices, light tea leaves, very yeasty, something reminiscent of Orval. Moderate sugary sweet and bitter. Medium body and quite strong carbonation. Bit like a simple Orval wannabe.
