Jun. 16. A 0.75 l bottle. It poured a hazy deeper orange body with medium sized head. Orange fruit aroma, ginger, some light roasted wheat-like to grainy malt, yeast. Flavor was lightly sweet, roasted bread, caramel, sugar but also lightly bitter from the roasted malt, too. Lightly spicy towards the end and in the very aftertaste, I guess declared Mediterranean spices - rosemary? Medium in body with quite high carbonation which emphasized the yeasty chalk notes, too. Long, sweet and a bit alcoholic finish. Belgian style feeling. With its interesting notes still it wasnt that unusual as some brewerys attempt on widespread styles that they do in peculiar, brilliant way.

Portrait: Une bire dore fonce. Loin dtre mauvais.
Note: 7/10

Bottiglia.

Bottiglia [email protected] Beer Tasting 2016, BH. - Placeholder impressions: bodacious Dunkelweizen meets the mild yeasty spice of a Belgian Blonde, seasoned by a host of exotic Mediterranean dust (ginger, myrrh surfacing as powders which could also be yeast). Pleasant mouthfeel, delicate brew.

on tap at saint-bock, mtl. unclear dark brown pour, orange tint, with a nice creamy off-white head, some lacing. cherry and cinnamon, buttery sweet caramel, burning alcohol, treacle and demerara sweetness, dried fruits, tannic wood. moderately high carbonation, light to medium body; warming spicy finish. nice caramel with a belgian spicy twist - some complexity i guess but mainly due to its added ingredients..

Pours a bright golden color with a small white head. Smells grainy with some spices and bread. Tastes pretty malty with perhaps a hint of ginger or some other kind of spice. Finishes smooth and dry with a medium-light body. Overall an interesting, if a bit weak on flavor, beer.
