Gangstergafje (1184) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - AUG 24, 2017
24-08-2017; bottle; at home (bought online at www.drankgigant.nl, Oost-Souburg, The Netherlands). The looks of the beer are nice. The beer has a orange amber color. The beer is quite cloudy. On top of the beer some soft white fast collapsing foam is formed. After a while hardly anything is left, accept for a minimal drape. Nice. The smell of the beer is nice. I smell some nice malty aromas. They give a nice sweetness, but also a slight bitter toasty touch. Besides there are some fruity touches, with some herbal hints. Very nice. There is a nice bitter refreshing touch of the hops. Lovely. The beer has a lot of nice herbal power to it. I like its. The taste of the beer is nice. It has the same aspects of the smell. There are this nice sweet malts, with a slight bready/bisquity touch. I taste nice fresh fruits to, with a touch of ginger and some nice refreshing herbal flavours. Lovely. There also is a nice fresh hop flavour. The flavour is very fresh, with some nice fruity and herbal touches. I love it. The beer is well balanced. The palate of the beer is fine. Medium body, smooth texture and medium carbonation. The finish of the beer is very nice. I like it. Plenty of herbal flavours there. All in all, a very nice beer. I like it.
