COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The amber version of OPEN, OPEN RISERVA combines the features of caramel and amber malts with the aromas of American hops. The result is an explosion of well-balanced taste, where the biscuit aromas coming from cereals and the notes of dried fruit blend perfectly with the bitterness and the aromatic scents of hops. The body is strong but never excessive, to ensure it is easy to drink. The head is thick and creamy. 16.8°, 33EBC.

Shared 750 ml bottle at local tasting. ABV is 7.5%. Orange colour, moderate white head. Nice aroma of biscuits, raisins and other dried fruits, hints of chocolate. The same elements in the flavour, but the beer is not too sweet. Good stuff, Teo!

Flaske 0,75l delt med flere under seanse i Tårnrommet 3 Jun 13. Aprikosfarget. Søt blomsteraroma. Brukbart skum med litt lacing. Smaken er syrlig frukt - men litt tynn. Antydning til malt.

Bottle at local Italian restaurant. Lightly bitter, citrus, hints of tropical fruit. Nice and refreshing with a hint of booze. Malty sweetness comes through later on.

Bottle, 75cl. An unclear, orange golden beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma is mostly citrusy, orange zest, with some herbal hints. Notes of forest and white sugar. There’s some alcohol warmth in the mouth, it’s full bodied and quite carbonated. Oranges, zest, some sweetness and a pleasant bitterness in the flavor. A herbal touch too. Citrus peel bitterness in the finish. A pretty nice one, but I’m not really impressed. Perhaps it needs some proper food. 140131

For søt. Savner endel på bitterhet. Munnfølelelsen er grei, men litt anonym. Vag bitterhet i ettersmaken.
