UPDATED: JUL 14, 2011 75cl bottle. Unfiltered hazed honey colored body with a fine-bubbled off-white head. Nose of pineapple cake from the tropical/citrus hops and the cake-like bready malts, awesome. Unique and new, this beer like most Baladin does not fit in with any defined style, but is something new and interesting and stands alone. I am quickly falling in love with Baladin who has rejuvenated my once-stagnant interest in artisan beer thanks to their perfectly executed experimental recipes. The yeast character and structure of this beer are divine. Lovely throughout. Where’s my "hotel room rate taking in a foreign country" award? And bonus points if it were in Italian? :/
Keg at Baladin Bologna. It pours a clean golden color with a medium tan head. Aroma is floral, fruity sweet, lightly yeasty. Taste is also moderately sweet floral and fruity with notes of lemon, melon and grass. Light biscuity malts. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, ok rgf001 (324) - Austin, Texas, USA - NOV 9, 2015
American hop aroma. Pleasant flavor with toasty malt and citrus hops. Dry finish. Nice. beer-yum (1652) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 23, 2015
Restrained aroma in a golden pour. Strangely Belgian flavour profile for an ’American’ ale - but very tasty regardless. It is hard to rate these Italian brews as they are somewhat unique. fombe89 (3266) - Asturias, SPAIN - SEP 26, 2015

Dorata carica, velata dai lieviti in sospensione, schiuma bianca di media persistenza.
Aroma agrumato, zucchero caramellato, alcool.
Al palato sempre agrumata e zuccherina, maltata, retrogusto amaricante erbaceo e leggerissimo passion fruit, alcool fin troppo presente.
Corpo medio, mediamente carbonata.

Amber with a fluffy head. Very hoppy nose. Tropical fruit, hop, malt, candi sugar. Medium body, low carbonation. Pleasant dry walnut bitterness in the finish. RickFifty (1238) - Fredrikstad, NORWAY - JUL 26, 2015
Draught at Open Baladin Rome. Clear amber color, tan head. Peach nose, lemon, malty notes, ripe fruity. Caramel taste, tropical fruit, malty, hint of grapefruit, moderate bitterness. Medium body, soft to flat carbonation. hirigalzkar (3127) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 18, 2015
Bottle. Unusually choclaty for an american pale ale. Not as refreshing as I like them to be. OK. armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 2, 2015

Honeyish yellow body with a froathy white head. Aroma of honey and some herbs. Medium-full body with malty sweetness, not a well hidden alcohol - but well hidden hops. Except more.
