Bottle. Moderate roasted and caramel for the malt, moderate cooked orange for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with brown sugar, dried fig, raisin and date in the background. Head is small fizzy/frothy, off-white with some slippery spots of lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is muddy medium brown. Flavor starts moderately to heavily sweet and slightly acidic, then finishes moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, syrupy, with a soft to lively carbonation. A little thicker and sweeter than I expected in a Belgian Strong Ale, but it makes it a bit more enjoyable on a cool autumn night. rgf001 (324) - Austin, Texas, USA - NOV 13, 2015
Bottled Amber beer with off white head. Alcohol was the most predominant note in both aroma and flavor. Unpleasant malt liquor-like drink. Does baladin have a good beer? beer-yum (1706) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 25, 2015
Restrained aroma in an amber pour. This is the fourth Baladin brew I’ve had this session (working my way up in strength) but I’m fundamentally not tasting any different = do they only have one yeast? Still, this one is the best so far...and none are bad. tiong (7263) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 24, 2015

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2017 Kran w openbaladin.
