COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn’t believe that, it’s the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the ’800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

Birra semplicemente spettacolare. É una delle birre artigianali che preferisco. Molto corposa, gradazione elevata colore ambrato! Consigliata ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

When it’s ok, I think one of the best beer I drank. The aroma is soft but perfect, the taste sweet, fruity and caramelled, delicate and perfectly balanced. Better at tap.

UPDATED: MAY 7, 2011 The aroma was strange, a bit of cheese (coul be the bottle?) but the tast was great. Classic belgian beer, delicate but complex and shaded.

Si ispira alle birre d’abbazia creando un suo stile. Raggiante, ambra, profuma di frutti tropicali, di banana e marzapane. Shiuma abbondante buona carbonazione. Birra corposa, aromatica, sentori di mandorle e nocciole. Retrogusto piacevole e persistente. Beverina nonostante i suoi 8°. Ottima, fra le mie preferite.

Amber in color, big in taste. One of my favorite all-time beers even at $16 / bottle retail.

This is my favourite beer. Drak amber perhaps red, Sweet as honey but complex, malt , hops and fruits are evident. A real example of belgian beer.

Pour this slowly, you can get a serious head - stays but doesn't leave much lace. Nose is hazelnut and color is a cloudy amber. Serious amount of chunky bits that settle to the bottom - they do not detract from the excellent flavor. Just a slight hint of yeast. Good mix of malts and hops but the malts dominate. A 750ml bottle is $13.95.

Bottle 750ml. Great beer. Aromas of caramel, butterscotch, apricot, nuts, and yeast. Taste is sweet, and long lasting. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Brown, with a frothy white head.
