Bottle, 2010 edition. Pours ruby, completely flat, a bit hazy. Aromas of dried fruits, raisins, plums, lots of sweetness. Donkere rood-bruine kleur zonder schuimkraag. Geur is zoet, honing, caramel en heeft iets weg wisky. Smaak is zoet, vol, honing een een tikkeltje caramel. Geeft een zijdezacht gevoel in de mond dat lang aanhoud. Geen overheersende alcohol smaak ondanks dat het toch veel weg heeft van wisky. UPDATED: JUL 31, 2017 Taster 2010 ed. @ Baladin, Bologna. Beautiful dark, reddish chestnut colour, no head and no carbonation. Drinks like a fine, old porto wine with raisins, figs, dates, plums, rum and vinous notes, vanilla, wood, light char, hazelnut, toffee, mocha, huge warmth of the alcohol. This is the definition of richness. It blows your mind with the aroma, then does a Mortal Kombat style fatality with the taste. Perfection!
Sweet honey aroma with vanilla, caramel and woody finish. Taste is sweet and full of toffee. Dried fruit sweetness and almond tastes. Mead type od sweetness is dominating and hides some richness that comes out as it warms amazingly smooth

Opalescent reddish-brown colour, practically no head at all; aroma of smoked ham or cheese, tobacco, raisins, burnt sugar syrup, herbal liqueur notes, dessert white wine and some wine cellary- earthy notes; taste of a liqueur wine with smoked notes; ok this has nothing beer-ish and seems to be much more like a weird smoked white wine liqueur than a beer, but anyway, I like it very much! Sample, BOTTLE 50 CL. Vintage 2010. Hazy deep red, no head. Super rich sherry like aroma, oxidized, rich dark dried sweet cherries, light chocolate and vanilla. The taste is surprisingly sweet, or rather chocolaty, the dried fruity is drowned in the chocolaty vanilla good aged spirit, warming alcohol. Not much of that oxidized notes as in the basic Xyauyù. Brownish with tiny head. Very complex heavy malty profile - lots of caramel, lightly tobacco and woody, lightly oaky. Moderate notes of dark, riped fruits. Nice organic sweet aromas, which mainly comes from rum barrels and what’s more are not really annoying. Taste is heavy sweet, override fruits, delicious. In general perfect combination of flavors and aromas, the mastery of oxidation and maturation process.
