200ml draught at Pingvinen. Brown-reddish body colour. Tiny layer with a few patches. Modest malt-fruity smell. Brown malts and mid-dried fruits creating a jam-like flavour. Refreshing malt-bitter ending. Quite well bodied. Has definitely got its moments of joyful beer drinking (Bergen, 17.09.2012).

Bottle at home. Has a slightly hazy reddish brown color with a beige head. Aroma of bread, wood, prunes, wort, brown sugar and some caramel. Hints of cheese and smoke. Malty flavour with leather, bread, oak, dried fruit and brown sugar. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. Malty with interesting fruity undertones. Decent bock.

Bottle in our tent, at Maulavangen Camping, Norway. Pours hazy anger with big yellowish head . Aroma of sulfur, hay, nuts, caramel, flowers. Tastes sweet, like bad homebrew. Reminds me a bit of a bitter.

17cl@lhallens tap2; off white head, deep dark amber as good as clear body. Completely covered glassware with lacing. Aroma; big bowl of fruits covered with vanilla and spices, caramel malts, creamy sugar. Taste; grassy piney hops, roasted malts, chestnuts, almonds, caramba oil, vanilla, ginger, clove and bread. Normal to soft carbonation, slightly dry feel. Finishes fruity, fruit peel, the spices, toffee-malty, nutty and bready influence, and still hops to the very end. Quality remarkable brew. Bottled (from Vinmonopolet, Kirkenes). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is ripe fruits, some gluelike notes. Flavour is sugary, some syrup, mild gluelike notes as well as some wooden notes. Not very pleasant.

Lettdrikkelig. Svak bitter avslutning.

Bottle at beer festival. Poured a clear rust tinged brown with a white head. Aromatics found were fresh, hoppy and green apple core. Had a slightly sour note on the taste with slight bubbles. OK

Ruikt honing, beetje crme. Smaakt bitterzoet, suiker en iets hop en kruiden.
