COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Official Beer of Seattle Beer Week 2017, Fresh off the Farm IPA was brewed in the center of hop field #41, just minutes from downtown Yakima, by Bale Breaker Brewing Company.

Founded by fourth-generation hop growers, this truly farm-to-glass brewery crafted a brand-new IPA to celebrate the 9th Annual Seattle Beer Week. A big hop aroma on a clean Pilsner malt base perfectly showcases a few of the newest and most exciting hop varieties off their family’s hop farm.

Whirlpool additions of Simcoe® and Mosaic® add depth to the nose generated from a post-fermentation charge of Ekuanot™, Loral™, and the still-experimental HBC 630. From the fields of the Yakima Valley to the streets of Seattle, Fresh off the Farm IPA delivers farm fresh flavor no matter where it’s poured.

Appearance: Bright golden. Hazy. Finger of white foam. Nose: Citrus hops with lesser elements of caramel, tropical fruit and pine. Taste: Grapefruit zest, orange peel, papaya with a touch of cedar. Caramel sweetness throughout. A little grainy. Body: medium with active carbonation. Parting thoughts: Quite a decent hop bomb with a flavor profile well within my comfort zone. Very Good beer.

Bright slightly cloudy orange. Aroma is floral hops, peach and citrus. Taste is mellow on the bitterness, but full hop flavor, though lightish in body. I think I like Loral hops a lot.

Can given by alexsdad06. Poured hazy golden color with an average white frothy head that lasted with good lacing. Medium to heavy complex hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a solid beer.

12 oz can from Tavour shared with Tmoney99. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, earthy, herbal, resiny, light citrus more grapefruit than anything, some tropical fruit character, very drinkable, nice to get fresh.

Can thanks to Matt. Consumed very quickly at first via the Chuck Jenkins AKA the shotgun method. It went down great. Big tropical notes, biscuit, light orange peel. Soft and mellow. Very good. It hurt me bad though...my fault.

ABUSEDGOAT (2820) - California, USA - MAY 27, 2017
Clear amber colored, white head that lasts. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, caramel, lesser notes of tropical fruit. Medium bodied, juicy, new hop flavors dominate with alcohol hidden well. Good, not great.

Can at the tasting. Thanks! A: Clear gold, thin white head, light lacing. N: Grapefruit, pine, earth, papaya, leaves, and cracker. T: Very bitter, lightly sweet. Nearly astringent. M: Medium resinous body, no alcohol, softer carbonation. O: Decent enough, though it really doesn’t have an distinguishing features to stand out from the crowded field.
