COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Introducing our fourth year-round beer available in six-packs and on draught! Leota Mae joins the Bale Breaker lineup with a fresh take on a heavily hopped West Coast IPA. With late additions of Ekuanot™ and Mosaic®, this beer veers into dank, tropical territory, highlighting the aromatic power of these two Yakima-bred varietals. Our great-grandparents planted hops in the Yakima Valley in 1932. The matriarch of our family, Leota Mae, worked sunrise to sunset cultivating the land we still farm today. This beer pays tribute to our family’s legacy and the woman who started it all. Cheers, Leota Mae, here's your IPA.

Copper body with a nice, lush, frothy white head. A bit catty right off the first whiff with a Simcoe-like quality, accompanied by some pleasant bitterness. Juicy, catty, citrusy body with an easy bitterness through the finish.

12 oz can from beer junction. Lots of floral hop aroma on opening even though the can is about 2 months old. Tastes of hop resin and biscuits and crackers. A bit of mango and pineapple on the initial taste then dissipates. A bit thin in the body but makes you want more.

Can pours a partly hazy gold with a slight orange tinge and a one finger eggshell head with good lacing. Aroma is very hoppy, citrus and grapefruit, light green olive, slight catpiss. Taste is mild, not overly sweet, abundant citrus. A bit on the sharp side initially, but easily drinkable. Bitterness is reasonably tame and aftertaste is fairly short lived. Good, just not quite enough meat on the bones.

Can, thanks Andrew! Pours crystal clear golden, medium creamy white head, dissipates fairly slowly, good lacing. Aroma is leafy, pine, grapefruit, hint of passion fruit. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Difficult to place this as a wet hop.

12 oz can from a case bought at work. Aroma is citrus powder drink, orange creamsicle, passionfruit. Pours hazy deep gold with an off-white head with decent retention and some lace. Taste has average to maybe slightly above average bitterness, light malt sweetness with juicy hop flavor. Not bad. I would like to compare it side by side with Topcutter.
